GRATITUDE

I want to send my aloha for those who lifted my spirits during the ordeal in LV. First to Dee and Vince who stood by me all 9 days! I love them both dearly. To Carol and Alex Johnson who was passing thru and stopped in at the ER to give support. They came again on their way back to Utah. Oh how they made me laugh and cry. Glenda Savage, my friend in Vegas, came to the hospital twice. She and Frank came to the ER and Frank assisted in a priesthood blessing with Damon and Vince. Oh, what comfort I have in knowing we have a forever marriage! My faith keeps me going. Love to all

LAS VEGAS ORDEAL

Well, on our way to my mom's luau Saturday, 4/11/09, we stopped in Las Vegas for overnite to continue to Sylmar the following day. Lo and behold, Cass goes into a couple of seizures. This was his first and the ambulance took him to Valley Hospital ER. We ended up staying 9 days!!!!What a trip staying in a time share 5 days and 4 days in hotels. We are finally home without any more incidents. Vince, my brother-in-law did it in less than 5 hrs. Cass is doing well. He had an infection in his blood which caused the seizures. Meds are being taken to prevent this but can still come back. What an adventure and I am so grateful to have my sister, Dee and Vince with us. Damon, Matthew, Danny, Tanya & family came for brief visits. Needless to say my mom had a wonderful luau without me. My brother, Buster, came from N. Carolina too. The Lord works in mysterious ways and we're here. I am grateful for his strength through out this ordeal. My faith keeps me going.

Josiah Ka'eo Casabar

This is our latest grandson, Josiah, who is now 4mos. old. He is so different from the other two boys in Damon's family. He is sitting in Great Grandma's lap. He looks alot like Colton, another grandson. He is having some trouble with the cold weather right now. Utah's cold weather has a bad effect on some of the babies. Damon is such a good daddy with him. We love you, Holly, Colton, Micah, Bria. Love, Grandma Jenny

THE FABULOUS FIVE MISSING ONE!

Cass had his footsurgery 1/13/09 and one by one of my children came to visit and give support, except Maile. Maybe next time, ok. We had a wonderful time and we both were happy to see them. Thank you for all your help. Tanya helped me desize my junk somewhat, Cam and Matt were at the Hospital with me, Dan and Keone (calabash son) came just to be there, Damon visited with his siblings when he could. Plans were made and we may move within 2yrs or sooner. We feel good about it. Don't they look super. They are wonderful, loving children and their mine!

WONDERFUL MOTHER, COOK, ORGANIZER

Here's my tribute to Tanya. She has come a long way to being my only daughter that went on an LDS church mission, married to a wonderful funny guy, has Noah, her son. She had it rough in her younger days, but she is a loving daughter who takes care of her family. She is a good cook and shopper, too. I appreciate that. Love you guys, Mom
